Shortly after launching Mr. Cavaliere in 2020, I began a podcast called How I Suit Up.
The goal wasn’t to talk about trends or “what’s in.”
It was to explore how style fits into a real life — how clothes support confidence, movement, work, and identity.
Over the course of a year, we recorded 45 episodes featuring entrepreneurs, creatives, TV personalities, and cultural figures from around the world. Many of those conversations still shape how we think about tailoring today.
Below are five standout episodes, plus one bonus conversation that offers a look into the philosophy behind the brand itself.

Toronto-based broadcaster Shawn McKenzie is one of the most stylish figures in the NHL media world. His on-air tailoring — bold colours, strong lapels, and a refined silhouette — often sparks conversation well beyond hockey.
In this episode, we discuss the Toronto Maple Leafs’ evolving dress code, how Shawn approaches dressing for television, and why sport and tailoring are more connected than they appear.

Fabio Attanasio is a craftsman at heart — an author, entrepreneur, vintage watch enthusiast, and lifelong student of tailoring. His book The Scent of Tailoring is a love letter to the art of clothing.
In our conversation, Fabio shares how a former law student became one of the world’s most respected authorities on menswear, what tailoring means in a modern context, and how to approach a custom commission thoughtfully.
