It’s week two and I can really start to see my beard forming. The initial itch is gone, but for most guys this is the awkward stage of beard growth. At this point, guys typically get used to the process but don’t like the way the hair grows around the neck area. I can assure you it’s not time to shave the area just yet. Give it one more week and I will show you how to properly clean up the neck region for superior beard shape.
However, I do recommend cleaning up the area just below the cheekbones. Stray hairs will start popping out above the main beard area and a quick glaze of your shaver should take care of this. Remember, don’t go too far down as you will affect the shape of the beard or even too high as this will cause more stray black hairs to form.
This procedure of cleaning up stray hairs below the cheekbone should be a daily routine. It will allow for the beard to look clean and neat while still making it appear fuller.
