As many of you know, I firmly believe in dressing for success and the confidence it can bring from the outside in. Ever since I was a young boy, I always dreamed of wearing a suit as I viewed it as the armor of a powerful modern man. I think it’s fair to say that if you dress professionally, your chances of succeeding in life, and at work, are significantly bolstered.
This is the idea behind Moores 8th Annual Canadian Suit Drive. Canadians can donate gently worn professional men’s and women’s clothing (including suits, shirts, jackets, pants, ties, belts and shoes) at any 126 Moores locations across the country until July 31st. The donations help those in need look their best as they re-enter the workforce.
Moores has donated approximately 375,000 items to over 70 local non-profit organizations to date. These recipient organizations provide professional attire, job-ready skills, training and seminars to individuals who are entering or re-entering the workforce
I will be donating a suit of my own to the cause in hopes that I can help a man in need. I’m also in good company and among several empowering supporters including: Suits Star; Patrick J. Adams, Raptors head coach Dwayne Casey, Glen Gulutzan of the Calgary Flames, and the Ottawa Senators, Guy Boucher.
Are you ready to help someone in need? C’mon, it’s a simple thing you can do that can make a big difference to someone’s life.
Join me and drop off your gently worn professional clothing today! Clean out your closets and head over to Moores store by July 31st!
You know what’s even better? As a thank you for donating, Moores is giving customers 50% off the regular price items on their next purchase!
What are you waiting for? Make a donation — encourage your friends to do the same! @Mooresclothing #SuitDrive.
