Your weekend dress code should typically be a casual version of your look on weekdays. Although, occasions do come up when a t-shirt and jeans may be too casual. Whether you're attending a brunch meeting or dealing with business after hours, simply adding a more refined shoe will do the trick. The best part is, you probably already have one.
Whether you wear monk straps, wingtips, or brogues, pairing your weekday dress shoe with your weekend uniform is all you need to elevate your look. Try and stick to brown tones, as it is less of a contrast than black. For this reason, I decided to go with brown cap-toed wingtip by Johnston&Murphy from Town Shoes.
On weekends, I like to pair items together that fit into the same colour scheme as my shoes. It's just easier to coordinate and doesn’t take much thought. For that reason, I paired an orange crew neck jumper, a plaid button down shirt, medium washed jeans from Paige, a brown tweed blazer, and matching accessories.
