A Day in the Life of a Men’s Style Blogger

One of the most frequent questions that I get asked is, “What is a regular day like for you?”

The truth is, there are no two days that are alike. Every day consists of something different, often based on what needs to get done.

With that being said, there are a few constants that I can say happen quite frequently due to running a full-time business. For this reason, I thought I would give you a behind-the-scenes look into the business of a men’s style blogger.

My day typically starts with meditation and an espresso. I think it’s a great way for me to get in the right headspace, where I can take on whatever challenges come my way with a clear mind. Also, I often don’t eat until around 3pm - However this day was different, as I had a lunch meeting with my photographer and good friend.

I personally love the idea of informal meeting places, as I feel both parties can just relax. After devouring a couple tacos and caramel-covered churros, we headed down Queen St. West, in search of some props for a photo shoot we’re planning.

I personally love that MBNA has a suite of rewards options that meet my everyday needs. I applied for the MBNA Rewards World Elite® MasterCard® credit card. Now, instead of determining which card to use for specific purchases (for different rewards), I can be rest assured that I’m collecting points on eligible purchases for travel, cash back, merchandise, gift cards and even charitable donations! Finally, an all-in-one card that is as flexible as my schedule!

We ended up stopping in at an antique shop that actually provides vintage props for movies! It was chalked full of everything from vintage baseball gloves to antique chandeliers. I picked up a couple vintage shoe trees.

After scouting a couple of locations, we ended up doing a few outfit shots that are often seen on my social media. This yellow wall was a personal favorite of mine, as the light was casting a shadow that hit the backdrop just right.

As there were no events that evening, I headed home around 6pm to be bombarded with a flurry of e-mails. I will typically answer these until about 11:30 pm, then I set some time aside to decompress. If your application for the MBNA Rewards World Elite® Mastercard® credit card is approved, you can get started with 10,000 bonus points after your first eligible purchase (like I did!).  Find out more by clicking here:

Stay tuned for part 2, as I use my MBNA Rewards to travel in style!
