A Step by Step Guide to Growing a Great Beard – Week 6

It’s week 6 and for some of you it’s finally time to classify your long facial stubble as a short beard. Most of the sections of your jaw line should be covered with bristle like hair and there should be little to no patches visible. At this stage you can really see how a beard can lean out your jaw line and change your overall appearance. Also, people you meet will say you look more mature and when you ponder something your beard will make the experience that much better!

So now what? It’s time to adjust your grooming regiment to compensate for your new fuzzy friend. One thing I like to do when I grow out a beard is get regular haircuts. Visiting your barber every 2 to 3 weeks is a great way to make sure you hair is looking sharp to balance the wild mane below!

Lastly, cleaning up stray hairs on your brow line is a great way of balancing your new facial fuzz. Whether it’s through waxing, threading, or plucking, having clean eyebrows will not only make your face look more symmetrical, but it will give the illusion that your beard is thicker than it really is!

For the first couple weeks of my beard journey check out the Grooming tab!

Happy growing,

Mr. Cavaliere
