Celebrating Craftsmanship with The Balvenie Commission

There is something about craftsmanship that resonates with men. Maybe it’s the idea of creating something unique, or the precision that goes into something that is exceptionally handcrafted. Whatever it is, this art form is sadly being used less and less due to the rise in technological advances.

The Balvenie is one of those rare companies dedicated to keeping that craftsmanship alive. It is the only distillery that still grows its own barley, uses traditional floor maltings and keeps both coppersmiths and coopers on site. This process makes The Balvenie one of the most exceptional handcrafted malts in the market.

The Balvenie Single Malt Scotch Whisky is produced by William Grant & Sons Ltd. which is an award-winning independent family-owned distiller, founded by William Grant in 1886. Today, the business is run by his direct descendants with the same attention to detail that William put into his work.
